Foolish human... they think six of them can overthrow Narek, who has fought ogres and the dragon? It seems that it's getting harder to be an elf emissary, and if this kind of situation will get to repeat, I will start to speak only for myself, and my relations will be regarding only my name and those who I trust... On another note, this behaviour it's outrageous... I will not stand and watch "barbaric" acts against no one. If anyone thinks this is how they can obtain anything, by brute force, they better expect some surprises. They will be treated as invaders, as ogres who come to pillage!
No ogre will take Sheep Island again! I think it's we're getting nearer of an assault against these pillagers. They will feel the wrath of fire and wilderness!

What!! There are ogres on the island where I own a small parcel? This will never do.
Thaero, Allort, Garren and I must do something. Please tell Garon that we will be there. We will keep our word. We will defend Sheep Island.

Ahh hummm!, Who has taught us how to fish?, who has the knowledge of Blacksmith?, who has the knowledge of carpentry? I think most of these skills are in the hands of the dwarfs. I think it would be of our best interest to learn these skills before we lose the chance to do so, by forcing them to pull even further away and having us killed on sight.
Sometimes it's a bit better to have some friends even if it means bending a bit, The Dwarfs have done me no harm so i will give them the respect due. There is only one Law in my books and that is Honor. Garon is a great example of that and holds true to his word.
If there is a war agains the dwarfs it will not be from me, unless it is provoked and that stands for all that walk the lands.

I did see a price on a Wolf Pelt of 10, but i did not see which it was (IE) Copper, Silver, etc. I would think Copper. I also know a Gnome that would think the 0 was not there at all whiles trying to buy it, but would add another while trying to sell it. J/K... Have a great day.

Well, we had a small battle. Perhaps it should be called the Battle of Sheep Island. For those who weren't there, Garon, Beepe, Thaero and Jewfro killed three ogres and recaptured Sheep Island.
Feedback anyone?

It happened today (Oct. 2, 2008) during the 38th Game Session. Last session the ogres returned to the island. This session, Garon gathered together everyone he could and they recaptured it.

Hearing the terrible news about ogres coming again to Sheep Island, me and Beepe have returned from our journeys and went to Stondar to meet Garon. Allort was far in very distant lands, and was not able no return that fast. I took a quick trip to Worfin, to recall Kyron, my faithful wolf. At returning to Stondar, I thought Kyron has got lost on the ship, but it was just playing in the water bellow the docs. We met Jewfro there, and I could tell that this human was a warrior with a brave heart. He agreed to assist us, and he said that the fight will be his reward. Because we wad no money, we could not pay the 10c fee, and could not enter the city. We gaved to Garon our valuables, and he traded them for weapons and food. After this, we sailed to Sheep Island... Kyron was following without hesitation. Scouting the island has revealed to us 3 ogres... they were much taller and seemed much stronger than the ones from Worfin Island. We prepared for attack and charged them... only to be a few moments later back on the docs of Stondar. Some strange magic was against us, or maybe protecting us We set sails again, and arrived once more time to Sheep Island. We lured one ogre, and fought with him alone. Beepe was injured, and she took a fall. Garon was also hit by the ogre. We retreated and Beepe started to heal the wounds we had. At this moment, we realized that without her presence there, our retaliation would've been a failure. With the killing of the first ogre, we got thrilled and more confident in our forces. We lured the second ogre, and charged the last with no preparation. The dwarven craft has stud up to the name.... I only wish they made armors on bigger sizes also
Jewfro was rewarded by Garon with a piece of land, a small hill near the sea with a few trees.
Sheep Island it;s safe for now. We defend our lands, and kept the word we gave to Garon. But like Jewfro said, the battle was already enough as a reward. I only hope that in the near future, we could see Sheep Island populated, and Garon's flock on the hills.

It was wonderful. We killed 3 ogres. Just a small group of us, an elf, 2 humans, and a dwarf set out to free Sheep Island. And we did it!
Yes, I fell. I couldn't seem to get him properly targeted. I think I need to hunt more for practice. I was out, but I didn't go to Valen's land. The first ogre was down, I was up and healing, and some strange magic threw us back to Stonar docks.
After a very short discussion, we decided to try it again. One down, heal everyone up. 2 down, no one needs healing, and 3 down.... Sheep Island is free.
I think Jewro is a natural warrior. With very little experience, he jumped into the battle and fought like a seasoned fighter.
Thaero wanted his tamed wolf by his side to help him, but when it was decided it would take too long to get the wolf from Worfin Island, he went forward without looking back.
I did what I do best. I healed between the battles. My heals are slow and small, but they work. Garon was the most badly injured, but he was fully healed when we went for the second Ogre. Thank Kraylus for my heal others spell.

Tuesday and Thursday. That's how I remember it. I don't even look at dates. Just every Tues and Thur.
And I am so sorry you missed it. We could have used your skills in the battle with the ogres. In fact, Garon was expecting you.
