Style of play:: MMORPG
Skill learning:: Your character would accually have to learn the skills either in a School, Univeristy, or by accually discovering. The other way you could learn would
be to take on a true apprentiship, where you would spend X amount of accual time, doing X amount of each process needed to endertake whatever it is that you are learning. For example.. Character Leion is going to take an apprentiship with Jayda who is a master Chef, first Leion would need to spend say 1-2 hours just grinding
wheat into flour, corn into corn meal, milking cows, that sort of thing. After Leion has completed his 2 hours and has learned each of the 3 skills to Master status, by performing them correctly say 10 or so times, then he can move onto to learning to make doughs, and then butchering, stews and soups, and so on. The key to apprentiship would be XP gained by both parties for time spent together. All items created by the apprentise while learnign from the master will be that of masters.
Job types:: Chef, Tailor, Armorer, Weaponsmith, Blacksmith, StoneMason,Carpenter, Contruction, Engineer, Doctor
*Should have player housing*
-- The thing here is that every item is made in steps, for example if you need 1k bricks to make your home you need to gather each item, clay or mud. After having made a brick mold, and accually make each brick. And then in grid format design your home. You will first need to have learned the skills to make your home,
or hire someone who does this. Same with furniture, cloth should be dyable, so that everything is very customizable.
*Quests*
-- These should follow a "Bring the community together theme"
So a higher up lever quest could be to organize a festavile that must have X amount of attendies.
Another could be for a teaching type quest, you need to teach X amount of people 5 skills to master status.
This is just a quick outline of my idea, I hope it isnt to confusing~!
